The Netherlands in top 10 Prosperity Index 2009

According to the 2009 Legatum Prosperity Index the Netherlands ranks in the top 10 most attractive countries in which to live. The Index is the world's only global assessment of wealth and wellbeing. The most prosperous nations in the world are not necessarily only those that have a high Gross Domestic Product (GPD), but are also those that have happy, healthy and free citizens. The top 10 countries are: Finland, Zwitserland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, The United States and New Zealand.
