Social Security Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of India

As of 1 December 2011, the Agreement on Social Security between India and the Netherlands has come into effect.

 

The agreement aims at achieving equality on the principle of reciprocity to benefit the employees and employers having cross-border operations by avoiding double payment of social security contributions.

 

Before the agreement came into effect, the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB), Amsterdam Inbusiness, and Europe India Chamber of Commerce together organized a seminar, which took place on 22 November 2011. Please click here to find out more about the seminar
