Mission

The mission of Invest Utrecht is to support foreign investors both in the process of selecting a suitable location for their business as well as after they’ve settled in the province of Utrecht. We are here to provide you with up-to-date, detailed and accurate data. We strive to prepare detailed answers to investors’ inquiries and customize these answers to the needs of each individual investor.

Activities

• Organization of tailor-made fact finding trips for foreign investors

• Selection of real estate (insight, data on site selection issues, showing potential investment sites)
• Initial advice on available incentives, permit procedures, tax structures, legal and HR matters.
• Introduction to potential regional partners and networks.

We actively help foreign companies set up their business in the province of Utrecht, but we also support the more than 900 foreign companies that are already established in the province. These current Utrecht investors make a greatly valued contribution to our regional economy, and it’s our goal to create the right business climate and to offer on-going support to help foreign investors thrive in our province. Invest Utrecht is allied with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA). The NFIA, which has offices all around the world, assists foreign companies in initiating or expanding operations in the Netherlands.
