Utrecht University
Utrecht University is one of Europe’s leading research universities, recognized for its high quality in both research and teaching. Utrecht University is ranked no. 1 in the Netherlands, on Shanghai’s Jiao Tong University Academic Ranking of World Universities (2011), 12th in Europe and 48th in the world.
Utrecht University houses the only veterinary faculty in the Netherlands. This is the largest veterinary faculty in Western Europe and has excellent animal research facilities for cardiovascular research.
