November 16th 2010. Network Gathering for Japanese companies in the Province of Utrecht. This year's social gathering will be held at Slot Zeist. The event is hosted by the Queen's Commissioner R. Robbertsen and Vice Governor R. van Lunteren. We are proud to welcome the new Japanese ambassador T. Koezuka to this event and many respected Japanese companies.

Utrecht India Trade Mission
In September 2010, a delegation of the Province of Utrecht, including Invest Utrecht, will lead a trade mission to India, one of the fastest growing economies in the world. The purpose of this mission is to introduce Utrecht based companies in India and to strenghten existing co-operation between Utrecht Knowledge institutes and their Indian counterparts. The main focus of the mission is IT, gaming and life sciences, sectors that excel both in India and Utrecht. 16 - 19 september 2010 Invest Utrecht was present at the Holland Pavilion during the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. The Holland Pavilion was organized by the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion, with the support of the Dutch Embassy, NLGD Festival of Games and the Dutch Games Association (DGA). Also present from the Netherlands were: Ex Machina, GATE, Headcandy, Interactive 3D, Netgames Arena, Virtual Fairground and Wallie.Bottertocht
Friday, June 4th 2010 the Province of Utrecht organized the annual Bottertocht. From the port of Bunschoten-Spakenburg the botters left under the watchful eye of the Queen's Commisioner from the Utrecht Statenjacht. By invitation of vice governor Remco van Lunteren and Invest Utrecht a botter left with directors and representatives of companies for a regatta on the Eemmeer.
Barbeque for North American companies
On July 8th 2010 a barbeque in the 4th of July tradition is organised for North American companies in the Utrecht region. The event is hosted by Vice Governor Remco van Lunteren. The companies are invited to celebrate their substantial contribution to the innovative economic development of the Utrecht region and to further acquaintance with the Province of Utrecht and with other North American companies in the region.Shanghai World Expo
From 23rd to 30th May 2010 The “Holland Knowledge Inc Days”, organised by the Province and Municipality of Utrecht, are held in the VIP room of the Dutch pavilion ‘Happy Street’ at the Shanghai World Expo.
Dutch and Chinese companies and knowledge institutes with an excellent track record in teaching, research and knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship will give project demonstrations about gaming, sustainable product development, construction and renewable energy.
